My wife and I have been patients of Global Doctors for the past 10 years, both at the clinic and the specialist centre. It is convenient because near our place and well equipped to do all major medical analysis and check-ups. Before the Chines New Year I requested an appointment to see the dermatologist and the appointment was made with Dr Suraya for today, February 20, 2021 . Got a call yesterday to remind me of the appointment at 10:45AM with a kind reminder to be on time. I arrived this morning at 10:40Am just on time for the appointment and was nicely asked to sit down while waiting. I look at the consulting room of the dermatologist and saw few people inside with the door ajar. So I sat down next to the consulting room hearing the people talking and laughing. The time passed and at 11:30AM asked the reception how long do I have to wait. The receptionist answered that it should be within few minutes. So I went back and sat down again and waited and still hear those same people inside the consulting room, the door was still ajar, talking about everything and nothing and laughing. Definitely it had nothing to do with doctor / patient consultation. At 11:45AM I could not stand it anymore and told the reception to cancel my appointment that I will look for another specialist as it is not acceptable to make patient wait for such long time without any good reason. The receptionist looked embarrassed at the situation and asked me to make an appointment with another dermatologist but denied the offer as I was too angry. I do understand that those specialists are only consultants coming few hours one or two days a week but I am dealing with Global Doctors and as such I believe that Global Doctors has the responsibility to evaluate their specialists and to ensure patients of their well being and that they are taken care of responsibly. After all every time I see a specialist I am being billed for more that 200 Ringgit, even sometime over 300 Ringgit for a maximum of 15 minutes of consultation therefore I believe that we, patients deserve a better treatment.Thank you for forwarding this comment to Global Doctors as I do expect an answer from them on my E-mail address: ydg102@gmail.com

A well-equipped and classy clinic and dedicated doctors especially Dr Liyana and friendly staff. Very clean toilets and common areas. There is minimal waiting time and it is open from 8am to 9pm daily, except on Sundays (9am to 3pm).
